Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 16:00

Salary up to £30,000

I have been requested to recruit a Technical Sales Support person to join their established team of internal and external technical sales professionals.

This role offers an opportunity to support the company’s mission of growth and market expansion while gaining in-depth product knowledge through specific training.

Role Overview:

• As a Technical Sales Support team member, you will be a primary point of contact, managing direct inquiries from customers and coordinating with the external sales team.
• You’ll use your excellent communication skills to analise customer needs, recommend products, and provide technical explanations to support your proposals.
• Interactions will include phone, email, video calls, and occasional site visits.
• The role will also involve liaising with the supply chain and third-party suppliers.
• Comprehensive product knowledge and training will be provided, allowing you to confidently support customers and deepen your technical expertise.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication skills.
• Confident phone manner.
• Background in mechanical engineering or related technical knowledge is beneficial.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office/365.
• Proactive approach and good time management.
• Full UK driving license (Essential).
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
