PHP Web Developer

Melksham – OFFICE BASED

Full-time Permanent

£40,000pa – £60,000pa depending on experience

We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP Web Developer to join our growing client in Melksham and really hit the ground running.

Joining an existing team, you will work to ensure your colleagues have the tools they need, to allow them to cope with changing demands.

Essential Experience:

• Experience working on a medium-sized eCommerce platform
• Good working knowledge in PHP7/8 and Object Orientated programming
• Solid foundation of the HTML5 stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS3)
• Practiced in relational database queries, primarily MySQL

Desirable Experience:

• Amazon Web Services for web hosting
• Queries with Lucene engines (specifically Elasticsearch)
• Redis for caching
• RequireJS
• GitHub for repository
• Using SSH to maintain CentOS based servers

The working hours for this role are 40 hours per week Monday – Friday
