Our client is seeking a highly motivated Multiskilled Engineer to join their busy team, on a full-time permanent basis. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal efficiency and uptime of their automated production machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance on automated production machinery
- Improve preventative maintenance routines
- Manage mechanical and electrical fault finding, using three phase control systems
- Fault finding & repairing hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Undertake small installation projects
- Optimise machine efficiency through continuous improvement
- Keep a clean and maintained work space, including transit areas to and from workshops and client visits
- Support operations team in achieve targets
- Comply to health and safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to cost effective technical solutions
- Participate in weekend call-out rota’s
- Adhered to budgetary requirements, but carrying out route cause analysis and predictive/preventative planning
Skills & Experience:
- Obtained an engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experience working within mechanical/electricals works, breakdowns, repair and fault diagnosis
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills, especially withing PLC’S, drives and inverters
- Strong understanding of engineering diagrams, HV/LV Switchgear and electrical drivers
- Excellent communication skills
- Full clean driving license and access to a car is essential
