The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and related areas of law. What you will do: 

• Meet with clients to assess their estate planning needs and provide tailored legal guidance.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other estate planning documents.
• Counsel clients on asset protection, tax implications, charitable planning, and business succession.
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and assist with estate administration.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and compassionate service.
• Stay current on Georgia estate planning and probate laws, as well as federal tax regulations impacting estates and trusts.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver efficient and high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia (in good standing).
• 3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, or related practice areas preferred.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, client-relations, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.
• Preferred Experience:
• Knowledge of elder law, special needs planning, or business succession planning.
• Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex estate structures.
