Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior attorneys in handling a diverse caseload of personal injury and civil rights matters from intake through resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Participate in client interviews, depositions, mediations, and court appearances under supervision
- Manage and maintain case files to ensure timely and organized progression
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff to move cases forward efficiently
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar License (or pending admission) required
- Strong interest in plaintiff personal injury and civil rights litigation
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Compassionate advocate with a client-first mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
