Accounts Payable Specialist

You Will Be:

  • Hands-on management of day-to-day general accounting functions, including invoicing, billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Performing daily banking transactions, monitoring cash flow, and managing working capital
  • Maintaining financial records for staff, customers, and vendors, including processing expense reports and reimbursements
  • Handling sales tax and corporate quarterly tax returns and payments
  • Coordinating warranty credits for customers and processing vendor invoices and payments
  • Process monthly reimbursement expenses by collecting and analyzing receipts from sales team
  • Preparing financial reports and analyses for the management team
  • Managing bank accounts, reconciliations, and deposits
  • Processing Annual Nexus Reports and 1099 data for suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and working closely with the General Manager and Corporate Accounting team

If You Have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, particularly in A/P and A/R
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong math, research, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
