If You Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Proven experience in corporate accounting
- Experience with multi-state payroll
- Extensive background in preparing payroll for large, multi-state organizations
- Hands-on experience with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
- Advanced QuickBooks skills (preferred)
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication, interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills
- The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
You Will Be:
- Overseeing all accounting and financial functions for our companies
- Upgrading accounting processes and reporting systems for maximum efficiency
- Processing weekly payroll and preparing garnishment checks
- Paying taxes in a timely and accurate manner at all required intervals
- Providing daily financial status reports to management
- Managing collections and reducing account aging
- Handling payables and reconciling bank accounts
- Evaluating creditworthiness of new clients, supporting pricing and contracts
- Supporting federal contract reporting responsibilities
- Managing internal employee benefits programs and ACA compliance
- Partnering with agents on workers compensation and audit processes
- Ensuring accurate employee coding and benefit assignments
- Collaborating with vendors to secure all eligible tax credits
- Overseeing corporate purchasing processes
