Sitework Estimator
Job Description
BOS Staffing has partnered with a very prestigious company located in Gainesville, Georgia. We are currently seeking a Sitework Estimator.
What we offer:
- Pay rate: Based on experience but roughly $110K per annum
- Hours: Flexible but full-time Monday-Friday

- Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience
- Need horizontal projects experience (handling dirt)
- Experience with infrastructure dealing with concrete with precast and holes, big retaining walls, sewers utilities, soil, water, may do roads and paving is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in construction management or related field
- Knowledge of the bidding processes
- A strong understanding of construction practices
- Ability to work under pressure and time crunch
- Proficiency in Excel, and general compute skills
- Utility manager License a plus
- AGTEK, Building Connect a plus
You will be:
- Preparing estimates and proposals based on plans and specifications
- Prepare takeoffs on plans and review proposals and scopes of work from subcontractors
- Bid solicitations to both existing and new subcontractors
- Manage documents
- Review, research, and submit RFI's
- Build professional relationships with subcontractors for existing and future projects
- Assist in maintaining a cost of work database
- Conduct site visits with clients and subcontractors
- Traveling for estimating purposes
