Product Specialist
Job Description
BOS Staffing is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Product Specialist to join our client’s team in the Flowery Branch, GA area.
As a leader in the design and manufacturing of premium land clearing and road construction equipment, we are looking for someone who can drive product awareness and sales, and serve as a primary product expert for our construction and forestry products.
This role covers the Southeast territory including TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, and FL.

If You Have:
- 3-5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry
- Comprehensive understanding of Hydraulic, Electrical, Mechanical, and Diesel Systems
- Advanced technical capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management skills without daily supervision
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Self-motivation and ability to provide prompt, efficient, and timely service
- Adaptability to a changing work environment and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to deliver professional presentations both in the classroom and the field
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of customers and dealers
- Strong human relation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superior heavy equipment operating skills on at least four key product families
- Willingness to travel up to 60% annually
You Will Be:
- Driving product awareness and sales
- Acting as a resource of product information for the sales team, dealers, and customers
- Monitoring and reporting product performance to ensure alignment with company priorities
- Developing business growth opportunities and leading implementation to meet company growth objectives
- Serving as the primary product expert to assist sales team, marketing team, customers, and dealers with product, technical, and/or application questions
- Training and coaching sales and marketing teams on becoming product experts
- Collaborating with the Product Manager by providing updates, reports, and product specification changes
- Helping with the prospecting and sales processes to turn sales leads into opportunities
- Making presentations and conducting demonstrations internally and externally
- Encouraging and seeking opportunities for collaborative efforts
- Participating in trade shows and collaborating with industry influencers
- Serving as the voice of customers, reporting productive and constructive information
- Building and implementing the educational program for internal and external purposes
- Conducting competitive analysis and assisting in developing strategies to drive product success
- Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure accurate and current product information on the website and marketing materials
- Generating enthusiasm and interest in new products through presentations and product launches
