Job Description
BOS is now hiring for a Personal Lines Renewal Underwriter. Our client, a certified managing general agency is looking for a highly motivated, hard working, and technically inclined people person for a Personal Lines Renewal Underwriter position at their Alpharetta, Georgia location.
Pay rate: BOE but roughly $56K plus bonuses!
Location: On-site in Alpharetta, Georgia with possibility of hybrid
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

If you have:
- 3+ years of Personal Property Lines underwriting experience (Excess and Surplus preferred but not required). We also prefer experience underwriting in AL, FL, GA (or NC, SC, VA).
- Should be proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software applications and Carrier systems.
- Professional verbal and written communication along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team, productivity based environment.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Must possess initiative and drive to make positive changes to processes.
- Detail oriented with strong problem resolution and research skills.
- Ability to analyze a situation and implement a solution.
- Must be customer focused.
- Quoting renewals based on market availability
- Review and resolve all quote submissions within 48 hours, and endorsements within ten business days.
- Handling contract binding renewals
- Sending bind requests to carrier same day as receipt for brokered and company issued business.
- Review dwelling inspection reports for approval, where necessary, send and follow up with repair recommendation letters to meet eligibility requirements and state regulations.
- May include up to 25% travel to agencies for development and maintenance of profitable business relationships.
