If You Have:
- Minimum 5 years of parts sales experience in the heavy equipment industry (skid steer, bulldozer, excavators, tractors, attachments, etc.)
- Customer service-related experience as a technical parts representative or field service technician
- Multiple industry training certificates (preferred)
- Adequate mechanical knowledge to comprehend heavy equipment
- Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup and pivot tables (a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Sales abilities to assist customers, address concerns, and finalize transactions
- Excellent managerial abilities and a highly motivated self-starter approach
- Ability to be present in-office with occasional travel up to 10%
You Will Be:
- Supervising three Parts Specialists to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Setting departmental and individual goals and expectations, holding employees accountable for their performance
- Fostering a team-oriented mindset among all employees in the department
- Enhancing current customers/dealers in the US to boost parts sales
- Conducting thorough analysis of potential opportunities and establishing solid partnerships
- Maintaining a portfolio of 400 customer accounts, developing effective sales strategies, creating proposals, and accurate sales forecasts
- Managing the process of conducting product demonstrations and delivering impactful sales presentations
- Creating a strategic management plan to optimize customer engagement and identify new business opportunities
- Improving customer loyalty by regularly evaluating their satisfaction with our parts department
- Generating quotations, performance reports, and customer correspondence
- Utilizing reporting to ensure precise documentation of parts sales calls, customer records, and parts sales activity details
- Tracking competitor activities and assessing the usage and life cycle of parts and machines
- Coordinating with the headquarters parts department for updates on information
- Representing company at various events such as meetings, open houses, trade shows, and demo site days
