Job Description

BOS Staffing is currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable & Collections Specialist for our client in Alpharetta.  This client is in the food distribution industry and is a member-owned cooperative that follows a strong sense of ethics to create a better everyday experience for its members & partners. This is a family-friendly company, a semi-casual environment. This is full-time, temp to hire, in-office position.

You will be:
  • Applying payments to Supplier invoices,
  • Using MS Excel to create reports detailing supplier payments for cash application,
  • Generating accurate detailed supplier invoices.
  • Responsible for establishing relationships/contacts with Supplier key personnel.
  • Contact Suppliers to seek payment of past due invoices.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of Supplier receivables include maintaining and justifying payment variances.
  • Communicate with appropriate company personnel regarding Supplier contract, payment, and other issues\changes.
  • Maintain Supplier accounts receivables to within 60 days past due.
  • Research any unapplied cash in the Supplier’s account.
  • Responsible for all accounts receivable transactions and posting to the assigned Supplier accounts.
  • Complete special projects assigned by key company personnel.
  • Maintain Supplier files and correspondence.

If you have:
 
  • Experience in collections.
  • Data entry.
  •  Data research.
  • Very strong calculation skills.
  •  Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Possess a positive attitude.
  • Proficient ten key data entry skills.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
  •  Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
 
  • Associates degree; or 3-5 years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
