Accountant/Bookkeeper
Job Description
BOS Staffing has partnered with a very prestigious company located in Athens, Georgia. We are currently seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper.
What we offer:
- Pay rate: Based on experience but roughly $70K per annum
- Hours 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday, on-site in Athens, Georgia
You will be:
- engaging directly with clients, taking charge of both accounting and client services
- Develop meaningful relationships with clients, continually deepening your understanding of their businesses and elevating the level of service you provide
- QuickBooks desktop and online data entry and monthly accounting
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, such as recording journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate internally to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting
- Maintaining multiple QuickBooks files for different clients across various industries,
- Experience with either/or bookkeeping or accounting with multiple companies
- Providing clients with a high level of service and attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years experience in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop)
- Experience in bill pay
- Experience with schedule management
- Very good communication skills
- Problem solving skills
