    This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Controls Engineer to join a well established, growing company. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for a variety of projects.

    You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier technical support to our customers, both remotely and onsite.

    For this role we are keen to hear from any candidate who has experience in the following industries – sheet metal, cutting or fabrication. Or from someone who has recently graduated with a relevant degree.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email and in person
    • Ensure troubleshooting technical issues are dealt with in a timely manner
    • Offer online, onsite and in-house training courses to customers
    • Install CAD/CAM software into manufacturing facilities

    • Carry out maintenance on automated production machinery
    • Improve preventative maintenance routines
    • Manage mechanical and electrical fault finding, using three phase control systems
    • Fault finding & repairing hydraulic or pneumatic systems
    • Undertake small installation projects
    • Optimise machine efficiency through continuous improvement
    • Keep a clean and maintained work space, including transit areas to and from workshops and client visits
